You may need to restrict the travel of your Kesseböhmer LeMans II shelves to prevent them from hitting adjacent cabinets, cabinet doors, appliances, or other nearby components when opening. Restricting the shelf swing angle helps prevent collisions and potential damage while ensuring the shelves operate properly within your available cabinet space.
If your LeMans II shelves extend too far for your kitchen layout, you can adjust the built-in stop block or install a LeMans Restrictor Clip to limit how far the shelves swing out of the blind corner cabinet.
Each LeMans shelf features a built-in stop block that allows you to adjust the shelf’s swing angle. The stop block is located at the connection of the rear arm to the bottom of the shelf. Rotating the stop block changes the shelf’s extension path and lets you restrict its travel to suit your cabinet layout and surrounding clearances.
The built-in stop block has four adjustment positions:
Adjust the stop block on each shelf as needed to help prevent interference with nearby cabinetry or appliances. If additional travel restriction is required, a LeMans Restrictor Clip can be installed.

The Kesseböhmer LeMans Restrictor Clip limits the opening angle of LeMans II shelves, reducing how far they swing out of a blind corner cabinet. Add this accessory when adjusting the built-in stop block alone does not restrict shelf travel enough to prevent contact with adjacent cabinets, cabinet doors, appliances, or other nearby components.
To further restrict LeMans II shelf travel, install the LeMans Restrictor Clip and then adjust the built-in stop block to the desired position. Combining the restrictor clip with the stop block adjustment provides additional control over the shelf’s swing angle, helping prevent collisions and potential damage while maintaining convenient access to cabinet contents.
